Sports
Our approach to sport at Marymount is in line with the school’s belief that education is concerned with the whole human being, and that every pupil has the ability to achieve something worthwhile beyond the classroom.
The main objective of the sports programme, therefore, is to identify and develop a skill in every pupil, because achievement in one area so often proves to be the key to success in school life as a whole. All girls take physical education, an integral part of the curriculum, linked to guidance on healthy lifestyles, exercise and sensible diet.
Marymount runs a comprehensive sports programme fielding multiple teams at the high school and middle school level. Our student-athletes compete against local London area schools and other international schools throughout the UK, Europe and Africa.

We are members of the London Schools Sports Association (LSSA) and compete annually in season-ending tournaments in the sports of volleyball, basketball and soccer with forthcoming opportunities in golf, tennis, softball and badminton.
The school is also a member of the International School Sports Association (ISSA) and we compete annually in tournaments both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
