The Annual Fund 2009-2010 has two targets: the Sr Mary Catherine Walsh Bursary Fund and the General Fund for School related improvements.

The
Sr Mary Catherine Walsh Bursary Fund
will enable students, who would otherwise be unable to do so, to attend Marymount because of means tested Bursaries.
The true love of learning is at the heart of the education we provide at Marymount. It seems a fitting tribute that we establish the Bursary Fund to honour Sister Mary Catherine Walsh, RSHM, a well loved teacher and friend to many Marymount students, who during her years at Marymount remained dedicated to the aims and philosophy of our mission. |

The General Fund target for this year is to provide state-of-the-art
Audio-Visual Technology to enhance student performances and Assembly presentations.
Assemblies take place weekly and are an important avenue for students to present their work and projects to the rest of the school. Students develop leadership and public speaking skills through the presentations, and often use multimedia through powerpoints and videoclips to enhance the sharing of information. We would like to encourage and support the students’ work by purchasing new state-of-the art Audio-Visual technology for the School.
