Marymount International School London - Giving
Marymount International School - London

Making a Gift to Marymount

At Marymount, our particular strength has always been to work closely with our students in a supportive and nurturing environment and in so doing we deliver consistently excellent results. However, with a ratio of 5 pupils per teacher our income is almost exclusively ploughed into teaching.

As a registered charity we do not run the school for profit and since we do not have an endowment we need to rely on fundraising.

Voluntary giving is essential to help Marymount remain at the forefront of girls’ education. Substantial gifts allow the School to begin new projects far sooner than would otherwise be possible, both for the immediate benefit of our current students as well as for our future students.

Gifts to the School:

  • Enhance the educational opportunities of current students through innovative programmes, new facilities and equipment, and
  • Promote the RSHM Mission “that all may have life and live it to the full,” by providing means tested Bursaries to deserving students.

Whether you are:

  • a former student who has fond memories of a favourite teacher or houseparent
  • a parent who recognises the extra attention paid to your child
  • a grandparent who finds great satisfaction in knowing that your grandchild is developing a life-long love of learning
  • or a friend of Marymount who believes in its mission to educate girls
We hope that you will consider playing a role in shaping the continued success of Marymount International School London through your personal support.

This year Marymount needs to raise £40,000 for a good, sprung, wooden floor in the Sports Hall which provides cushioning, is safer for our girls' joints and will improve the pace of our games. The new floor will bring us in line with our competitors' venues; our current floor was built in 1984 and no longer meets the European norm. Have a look at the "STEP UP MMI!" video below and see how the girls themselves would like you to participate.
