Marymount's annual International Day took place on Tuesday 9th February. The school was awash with vibrant colours as the students and staff came to school dressed in their national costumes and adorned in country flags. The afternoon celebrations included the fantastic country skits--highlights including USA's skit on dancing through the ages, the German speaking countries' fairy tale through the Alps, fantastic dances from Spain, Japan, Korea, India and the African Nations. A solo performance from Columbia added another continent to the list, the Chinese students' beautiful traditional costumes were a delight and England's song and dance routine brought us back to our wonderful host country. The day culminated in the fantastic food festival where even more of our over 50 nationalities were on display through sweet and savory delights.
Congratulations to the Student Council for their organisation of yet another successful International Day, and thank you to all students for sharing their great talents!
