Varsity Volleyball Trip to Madrid

The Varsity Volleyball team spent 12th -15th November 2008 in Madrid taking part in the ISSA Varsity Volleyball tournament, hosted by the American School of Madrid. The players were hosted by ASM families and played their games at the School campus.

 

The players all had a wonderful time both on and off the court, getting to see some of the sights and getting to know more about Spanish culture and language.

 

The girls finished the tournament in a commendable 5th place out of 10 teams. One of our Grade 10 students was named for the All Tournament Team.

 

Congratulations to all the players and the accompanying coaches on a very successful and enjoyable trip!
