Students will take part in a service project in a local school, spend a few days hiking in the Sahara Desert or the Atlas Mountains, and also enjoy time in Marrakech. As the tour leaders say the "rigorous and inspirational expedition allows participants to build strong friendships and gain confidence - all while having the time of their lives!"

Past Educational Tours

Pura Vida in Costa Rica!--February 2009

In February 2009, Marymount students had the opportunity to explore Costa Rica and its heritage. With abundant wild animals, flora and fauna, the students had a wonderful time taking in the country's charm and breathtaking scenery.

Parents’ comments:
“My daughter was able to identify different animals and remembered as many species as she could while showing us the photos. It opened her eyes to the life Latin Americans live and it also made her think about the Circle of Life in the rainforest.”

“My daughter enjoyed this tour very much because the contact between teacher and students was more intensive. Most of all she was impressed by the marvelous country, all the excellent information and really benefited from doing adventurous things.”

Boarders' Flamenco in Seville--October 2008

The Boarders' were able to take part in an Educational Tour to Seville, Spain, in October 2008. In addition to seeing the sights and eating wonderful food, they enjoyed flamenco lessons and performances.
