On Monday afternoon, 25 students in Grades 10 and 11 were inducted into the National Honor Society in a formal
ceremony attended by their parents, teachers, and by students in Grades 9-12. During the Ceremony, the NHS officers reflected about the qualities of service, scholarship, leadership and character in wonderful speeches they delivered with poise. Our Key Note address was delivered by Dr Irina Miller, parent of one of our Grade 9 students. We are grateful to her for sharing her perspective with regard to the important impact that scholarship and character, in particular, have had on her own professional journey as a cancer researcher and social entrepreneur. A warm congratulations to our newest National Honor Society members.
