On Thursday, we celebrated the great Feats of All Saints with a whole school Mass.
All Saints Day is celebrated on the 1st November and is also known as All Hallows. It is held each year on the day after All Hallows’ Eve – Hallowe’en!
It is an opportunity for believers to remember all saints and martyrs, known and unknown, throughout Christian history. During the Mass, Fr Chris reminded the school community that there are modern saints we can look to as role models, such as Saint Teresa of Calcutta and Saint Oscar Romero. We also reflected on the invitation to become more ‘saintly’ in our everyday lives, showing generosity, compassion and love for all those we meet.
