It is with great joy that we inform you of two significant changes in the School leadership. Marymount is in a most exciting moment in our history in welcoming a new Chair of the Board of Governors and a new Director of Development this week.
A member of the class of 1989, Cristina Serrano lead her first Marymount Board meeting yesterday. This is the first time in the history of the School that an Alumna is Chair of the Board. Cristina brings tremendous expertise from her career as an international banker, an avid sportswoman, a mother of three, and of course, someone who thoroughly enjoyed her time in Boarding at Marymount from her home of Madrid. We look forward to Cristina’s positive leadership and our work together on behalf of the Mission and the girls.
We also warmly welcomed Miss Adriana Williams as our new Director of Development. Adriana joins us from Kings College School, Wimbledon with previous experience at Putney High School. Having spent her whole career in school development, she brings great energy and new ideas to our community. She is eager to connect with Marymount Alumnae and build an even stronger spirit across the Marymount London family and RSHM network, “I am very excited to have joined this wonderful global school, and am looking forward to getting to know as many of the Marymount community as possible.”
Please join us in welcoming these outstanding women to our community in their new roles. We are blessed to have their gifts and leadership, commitment to the advancement of the School, and work to come on behalf of our amazing students. We have every confidence that they will help us affirm “life to the full” at Marymount in the years to come.
