THIMUN (The Hague International Model United Nations) is a yearly conference during which students from schools all over the world meet to come up with and debate resolutions on global issues in a simulation of the United Nations.
This year’s THIMUN conference has been different, but the threat of the virus did not stop it from taking place, and the organisation was able to adapt to the situation. Our students were able to join 1,600 other students online and through Zoom calls, which were coordinated in such a way that debates could happen smoothly. The organisation also created an online conference app where resolutions could be shared; they also made note passing possible through the app!
By Vittoria, Grade 11
This year, Vittoria was chosen to contribute to the THIMUN’s online publication, MUNITY. To gain a position on the MUNITY team, students have to apply and compete against students from all over the world. We are delighted to share a link to the paper via the button below, in which you will find all the articles that Vittoria’s artwork has been featured in. Congratulations to Vittoria and all the Marymount London THIMUN team!
