'I, Write' Scientific Writing Competition - Marymount International School London

‘I, Write’ Scientific Writing Competition

17 / 05 / 21 | NEWS

Ten Marymount London students, from Grades 9 to 11, submitted article proposals to the first stage of Imperial College’s ‘I, write’ Scientific writing competition. This was one of the highest participations from a single school; to all those who took part, congratulations!

We are very happy to announce that Angela in Grade 10 has been shortlisted for her excellent and brilliantly structured article proposal on the development of the adolescent brain. She will now be teaming up with a mentor from Imperial College who, together with a designated staff member from our Science department, will provide her with guidance as she explores the intricacies of the nervous system into the following stage. Fingers crossed and good luck, Angela..!

We would also like to give Diya in Grade 10 a special mention, as she was very close to being shortlisted for her excellent proposal entitled, ‘From moment to memory’.

We look forward to seeing as many of our students getting increasingly involved with Science in its many angles.
