School Transport

Marymount London’s School Transport covers a broad geographic area. The School’s door-to-door routes are re-evaluated each year as we seek to best serve the needs of our current and new families. To that end, we ask you to review the list of general neighbourhoods that our program will serve this year, provide your family’s specific details, and complete the form below to register. Based on the information gathered from the School Transport Registration form, families will be notified in the summer with more specific details, including collection/delivery times, vehicle type and driver’s route and contact information.

Safety

All vehicles are equipped with seat belts which students are required to wear. All School transport drivers undergone an Enhanced DBS Check.

Collection/Delivery Times

Marymount offers morning (collection is generally between 7:00 and 7:30 am depending on route and distance from School) and afternoon (approximately 4:15 pm) transport service. The School also offers late transport (departing at 6:10 pm) for students participating in after school activities. There is an additional  cost for the late service option (£1,050) which will be charged separately.  Please note that students enrolled in late transport have the option of afternoon or evening service.

As a route may have several stops, it is imperative that the driver remains on schedule. The driver will be permitted to only wait two to three minutes past a scheduled collection time in order to not delay other students. Due to the unpredictable nature of traffic, it is possible that the driver may arrive early or be a few minutes late.

Student Absence from School

Contact numbers will be provided so that the transport company/driver can be informed directly in the event a student is ill or will not require transport.

Refunds

Refunds will not be granted for occasions when a student does not utilize the transport due to school absence or late arrival.

Inclement Weather

In the event of severe weather conditions which might make the journey hazardous, the School reserves the right to adjust or cancel transport service; families will be contacted as soon as a final decision has been made.

Cancellation

School Transport is charged annually based on roundtrip service. A notice period of one full term must be given in order to discontinue service.

Transport Coordinator

School Transport is organised through Marymount’s Business Office.  Any queries regarding routes, changes to service, invoicing or special arrangements should be directed to Ms. Viera Hromadova, Assistant Account, at accounts@marymountlondon.com or ext 253.
