A key RSHM goal is to awaken a social conscience in each of our students. Their commitment to this goal makes Marymount students, parents and faculty, past and present, generous contributors to School life. There are many ways the community can get involved at Marymount.
If you are interested in getting involved at any level, please contact the Development Office or fill in our volunteers’ form. Volunteering makes a real difference to the daily lives of our students: Marymount needs you!
A Helping Hand at Events
Sign up for individual events: whether you can spare an hour for an event, or some time organising behind the scenes prior to the event itself, Marymount needs you!
Undergraduate Advisor
Are you currently studying at university or college and willing to speak to Marymount girls about what you’re doing now? Sign up for a School visit or, if you can’t make it to Kingston, we can set up a Skype meeting for you to share your experience with current Marymount students about your course of study, university fit/experience or success in internships/summer jobs.
Careers and Networking Volunteer
Whether you’re just starting out in your career or have a few years under your belt, Marymount’s networking events will introduce you to others in the community in your profession or industry. We are looking for individuals to host and attend networking events in London or come to Kingston to speak informally to our Grade 11s and 12s.
Event Committee Member
Love bringing people together? Behind every great Marymount event is a team of dedicated volunteers bursting with ideas and energy to make our community events even more exciting. Join one of our events committees and get involved.
Parents’ Association (PA) Grade Rep/ Alumnae Class Rep
If you’re keen to represent your Grade or Class and bring them together as a group, sign up to be a Rep! You will be the cheerleader of and spokesperson for your daughters’ year/grade, championing them at all their events.
Lifelong Learning Champion
In order to fulfil the RSHM goal of promoting life-long learning, Marymount is looking for speakers to talk to fellow parents, alumnae and faculty about their speciality, their niche or their experience. We believe that we can each learn from one another, so if you would be willing to share your experience and expertise, we would love to hear from you.
