Just as prospective Marymount families look to place their daughters in an environment where they will thrive and make a seamless transition, our College Counsellor will be there every step of the way when it is time for your daughter to look for a new home upon graduation.

Personal and strategic guidance is offered throughout the entire university research and application process.

Starting the process from as early as Grade 8, our College Counsellor demystifies the process for our students by introducing them to the requirements for tertiary study earlier rather than later.

IB Diploma students in Grades 11 and 12 (equivalent to UK’s Grade 12 and 13 or A-Levels) participate in group and individual lessons with the College Counsellor; they are encouraged to reflect on their identity and values as well as to celebrate their unique gifts and talents. Workshops highlight myriad options available to our students and demystify the process for the entire family. Additionally, the comprehensive support offered with each student’s Personal Statement, College Essays and university interview preparation enables them to find their voice and to shine as they embarks on this exciting new chapter.

We also ensure that our parents are kept up-to-date with movements and regulatory adjustments in the application process throughout. We host regular information talks for our parents to participate in, to reinforce our transparent process with our students.
