Marymount is a distinguished Catholic, all-girls’ day and boarding school situated in a beautiful garden campus 12 miles from London. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we proudly stand as the first all-girls’ school to adopt this curriculum in the United Kingdom back in 1979, positioning ourselves as a leading institution that consistently achieves excellent results. This ‘gold standard’ of education provides our students with a broad and balanced curriculum where the learning is contextualised ensuring students understand where their knowledge fits into the world.

Mrs Margaret Giblin, Headmistress
Mrs Giblin has 23 years of experience in education both in the UK and Ireland. She holds an MA in Catholic School Leadership from St Mary’s University and obtained her Higher Diploma in Teaching and a BA in Theology and English at the National University of Ireland and St Patrick’s Pontifical University, respectively. Mrs Giblin is married and has two teenage children.
Previously, she was the Deputy Head People at Woldingham Catholic School for Girls, where she has been working since 2012 in various roles.
